Wasatch Theatre Company, in association with Suddenly! Productions and South Salt Lake Parks and Recreation, announces the Northern Utah Premiere of The Spitfire Grill. Based on the Award-Winning Sundance Film Festival movie of the same name, The Spitfire Grill is the story of Percy, a girl with a past, who comes to Gilead, the city with no future. Heart-warming melodies and toe tapping songs surround this message of hope and tolerance.A masterpiece of musical theatre by James Valcq and Fred Alley, Spitfire is directed by local award-winning director JC Carter. Don't miss your chance to be part of a Utah Premiere. Musical direction for the production is provided by Katey Lynn Lowder. The Cup-of-Joe Band provides music.
The musical opens Thursday, October 6th and runs Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays through Saturday, October 15th. Performances start at 8:00 p.m. at the Columbus Center (2531 South 500 East).
